What is different about EFT?
EFT involves releasing unwanted feelings in a controlled way and removing them gently with a special self-massage on certain acupressure points. If you have had a relaxing massage and felt it de-stressed
you, then you already know how that can feel like afterwards. Acupuncturists have for decades been treating smoking with acupuncture, and hypnotherapists have for decades been treating smoking with a specialised talking technique. What the physical technique of acupuncture was missing was the talk element, and what the emotional technique of hypnotherapy was missing was the physical element. EFT combines the two. You get the talk PLUS the physical release.
Other methods may:
- Replace smoking nicotine by other ways of taking nicotine.
- Replace taking nicotine by another drug.
